the advent calendar was finally finished on the evening of Dec 3rd! "secrets" from the pockets so far + an extra present for V that arrived in the mail yesterday from N: beautiful buttons from Kamakura "Milk Hall" - sounds wonderful! my idea was that the numbers are easily taken of, so it can be used as pockets for whatever afterwards. but the pockets are a bit too small for storing things. i want to make another one for that purpose, a bit more elegant one. just a couple of big pockets in nicer fabrics. i'm totally having a christmas crafting mood, even though we won't even be home for it. and anyway, the problem with my mood is that i don't have enough time to realise things. or maybe it has more to do with having energy than time... i've started to make packing lists in my head, exciting busy happy stressed times before the trip. it's been a good letter week, i got a letter from the December bride and a love note from Marseille too. and the ANP magazine arrived normally for the first time!

while i am reading your december mood, i have to confess that i started to feel like creating different kinds and masses of cookies and making this realreal beecandels already end of november. this year- with 2 little freaks who are crazy for all the dwarf stories... its a pity that we dont have all the libraries anymore where i was at that time borrowing all this great tontusongstuff. the only music L can or does regularly order is eläinlauluja. ihaha heppo hirnahta? because its so nice to have a ride, like everybody knows, man.
but coming back to our actual questions around this years jouluseason that are arising through L:
who is responsible for the production of the toys and are the dwarfs really the assistants of the weihnachtsmann? which role does the jesusbaby play and is jesus also an angel by the way? and his mum? did she live on the earth or in the sky? now sky? E decides (without asking anything too complicated) simply to wear long stockings on his head running around the table with a strange kind of lalaaala. maybe a dwarf, maybe a dressed up tiger. but... i became a joulu addict during this 1 year in finland
and even if we seem to be a bit too quiet we have to think of you a lot. K and D the same
