sunrise auringonnousu 朝日
I've been collecting sunrises. The days are getting shorter and shorter. I wish I could escape. But at the same I enjoy how me and V started to spread all kinds of crafting all around (another sign of the change of seasons); she's learning to crochet and to sew by hand! And I think of christmas -- how weird is that? It's anyway only october.
It seems it's an autumn of love too, at least for the other half of the break-ups. My brother got engaged with his new love. My favourite story though is the one of falling back in love after the divorce process was already started. And it seems like we will get a little kitten!

autumn
We're so deep in autumn. And these photos are a bit old, that tree must look a lot barer now. We should take the teepee down. The car windows were frozen on one morning. And it gets dark so early.
I have taken so many pictures of the steamed window, but now the double window is back on its place and there's no more steam. That's a whale. Well it's pretty obvious.
It feels like there's a lot happening outside of home now with weekend school and some other activities - that's good. I have almost stopped breast-feeding. It makes me happy and sad. I will never breast-feed again!
This is an autumn of divorces and break-ups and now even Kim and Thurston separate...
ps: THANK YOU for many many congratulations and sweet words ♡

37
You can congratulate me today if you want to! No obligations. 37 sounds like quite a lot suddenly. So close to 40 which is a real woman's age.
You could also tell me if you have a favourite photo in this blog.

clouds
We had a walk on the field just one day before the tractor worked on it and it's not possible to walk there anymore. It was a beautiful day. V took the cat photo. (She worked yesterday and Y got a great idea that we could use the money for a camera for her -- I had thought we'd get her a camera for christmas.) She also drew "the circus horse Sing". "A drawing that looks like it was by an adult." I had my first painting class at the course I'm taking. Painting in blue. And I kind of caught the others in the book binding class. Life is quite ok I'm writing it down.

kana

A chicken I made for little V, using the same old cardigan (which my aunt has bought in Shetland on her bird watching trips). A reminder I once had work to do arrived in the mail yesterday: a book of room-shoes and mittens. And V's choice of colours for a sweater I'm knitting.
There have been many deaths recently. The one that touches me the most is the passing away of our friends' mother. She was a wonderful lady, full of love and light.
Today it's sunny and I'm off to school again. We're having a photo-shoot here on the weekend, and have to make this place look a bit decent again.

things to love about Rovaniemi

1. The library. V got a cool new bike and learned to ride it in front of the library.
2. The river, the old bridge.
3. Korundi art museum.
4. The river, again.
5. A house I found by chance that had a nice café and a wonderful yarn shop. They host a knitting club too. The picture is from the yard.
6. The letters that spell Rovaniemi at the railway station.

So now he's 2 years old. Not a baby anymore. He says he's 5 years old. He says he's not too heavy to be carried around. He says "could I have more milk?" ("lots of milk!"). He likes hen.
