I did, both of these things.
V drew on the ground what she was wearing. A teeshirt and shorts. It was a very fine combination, her favourite colour combination too, blue and yellow. Little V always says "no shorts!" when shorts are mentioned. In an angry voice. I guess it has become a joke.
A little bit of luck, as there is a girl of V's age in the neigbourhood for the summer and some weekends.
I read jam recipes and some other books. (I read the recipes after making jam, that's my style.)
And oh! how I wish I could go here. I've said before I love Margaret Kilgallen's work. The space looks great too.
How are you? I'm working with a cute book, I can't wait to make something from it with V.
I went to Minja's yesterday and met Liivia for the first time. That was special. Very nice. It's nice to talk about blogging with other bloggers, it's a special kind of hobby. I guess only other bloggers can understand the attraction and the problems. I didn't take photos of the meeting, although I could've. The beautifully set table for example. I just took photos of the kids playing with water.

We went to a great house today, both of us without cameras. On the way back the skies were giving their best shows too. I guess we'll remember without pictures and we'll go to that house again.
This is the new teepee on our yard since a couple of days. It is made of old swedish army sheets by Y's mother for some scout activities, but now we get to keep it. It smells wonderful inside, the scent of forest collected. There are blueberries too. And raspberries outside. There didn't use to be so many of them.
And I have a cherry tree. And I have cherries from it. It's happening! My own cherries! They are sour ones, for pies and jam.
All these sad news... Courage to Norway and wherever it is needed.
The books someone very sweet placed on my new bedside shelf. I couldn't bring myself to take them back to the bookshelf. Now I did, after taking a picture. In evening light.

Today was good.
After the July guests it's busy working time, 3 deadlines ahead. I work between Y's computer and the sewing machine, facing the forest now. I used to sit in the kitchen the most. This is much better.
Norwegian Wood is in the theatres now. I hope I get to see it soon. The trailer looks so beautiful, the actors are so beautiful. Tran Anh Hung makes beautiful movies. I always wanted to translate the book, and now it's too late. The company that puts Murakami books out in finnish doesn't translate from original language. I think that sucks. It is the best Murakami book I think. I miss Japan like crazy （相変わらず）
Their uncle was here. He's a great uncle! They meet only about once a year but he's interested in my kids in a way that makes me happy. My little brother, turning 30 this year. We went for a cloudy evening swim.

My favourite summer photo so far. I haven't been taking so many lately; I don't take so many photos when there are people around and now that Y has his new camera and new lenses, he's taking a lot. That's nice. He should buy cameras more often if that's the only way to make him take photos. This is little V eating a date and taking it easy at the sun party . Not stopping for very long though. Kids are like cats, they can take such nice looking positions.
Today was the third kids' party. We got to visit the nicest house and make huge soap bubbles. Climb trees and compliments. Oh compliments, there have been many. Compliments are nice.
We saw the biggest highest rainbow ever on that evening.
