yesterday on the frozen lake. this is something i haven't experienced too often, usually snow comes first. like Liivia at her lake, i also took many, many photos, i just couldn't stop. also of the ice flowers, they were unbelievably pretty. we also went on Sunday evening, as there was an invitation to bring hot drinks, candles and ice-skates - they had even brought a record-player! it was so beautiful in the dark too. magic lake. winter is magic, i'm happy it finally arrived.

siinä on jotain maagista kun seisoo keskellä järveä tai merta, jäällä, ja kaukana kaukana ranta. niin hiljaista ja jotenkin ääretöntä ei ole missään.

Ihania kuvia. Minä olin tänään kanssa aika innoissani, kun täällä Belgiassakin on nyt kylmä ja lumi peräti toista päivää maassa. Aurinkoista ja oikealla tavalla talvista oli tänään.
Otin liudan kuvia vain siksi etten ole todella pitkään aikaan nähnyt mitään vastaavaa säärintamalla.
latasin koneelle 88 kuvaa kahdelta päivältä, aiheena tämä järvi vaan... ja nuo jääkukat oli siis jäätä, ei lunta. läpimitta 2-3 cm.

Outi, niin on. se on suosikkiasioitani talvessa, että voi seistä niin kuin jossain ulkopuolella. harmi, kun viimeinen hgin talvi ei tarjonnut sitä. V ei muista toissatalvea, sitä miten käveltiin tervasaareen.

this is so pretty! i'm in amsterdam right now with the family i babysit for (they moved here), and today we went skating on a frozen lake in vondelpark...it was so beautiful and lazy and sweet. your ice pictures have a dramatic qualuty to them that i love...hope you are having a good january so far.

We are at polar opposites. Here we are sliding around in the ocean on boards in the heat at the beach.There you have beauty in the ice and cold winter days. This is very magical...i would love to experience this one day. -17....WOW!
