V drew a sign for N, the old cat: "Hissing is prohibited." (I checked for this word in the dictionary, but I'm not convinced; what is the verb for what angry cats say?)
Thank you for checking this for me! The dictionary talked about snakes, and we have separate words for snakes and cats.
Maybe he's following the sign, or just getting used to the situation with having her back. And for her, in the meanwhile there is this baby, who gets all the attention, and who has a wonderful sheepskin the little cat would like to have as well.

We have an angry cat and a nice cat, And we do say the angry cat hisses (sometimes at nothing, just for the sake of it! And he is not even old).
