The baby smiles and grunts. He sounds like Chewbacca. He behaves well. His parents don't. I'm happy my kids have each other as "fate-comrades". Ha, that's a finnish word.

it's a very pretty collar. V looks very sweet in it. i keep meaning to sew bits of flea market lace and crochet onto various cardigans and jumpers - maybe this will spur me on!

Nath, do it! Lace is wonderful. One of the rare things that I'm quite willing to pay a bit more on flea-markets. It's such a lot of work. I got this one for 2 or 3 euros though.

Gigi, it is "kohtalotoverit" (kohtalo is fate, toveri a comrade, t for plural). They also share the fate of having similar kind of a hippy name now.
