upside down

V has a need to climb. Now she has a place to go hanging upside down at least. We are still not using the upstairs properly (me, Y and little V sleep on the big bed, V sleeps very nicely in her own bed, all of us downstairs) but with this thing upstairs got a new function.

Thinking about ideal ways to live, it is in the air. Had nice visitors yesterday. We will be visitors tomorrow. This is something I need to be working on. With spring it's easier that's for sure.

V is listening to Nils Holgersson on cd, I love the reader's voice, a classic voice.

It is so windy today one apple tree has fallen down. A small one I planted 2 years ago.

on my mind

Clothes. That's what spring does, and maybe even more this year, as it is an after-pregnancy spring. I thought I will get back to my old clothes again, but my old clothes are all falling apart.

It is so unfairly easy to find nice clothes for kids (if you have internet). And you can just buy them and they will look great on them. It's been ages since I found anything on a flea-market, but the stripy thing for V is from Berlin. It is the happiest looking garment I know.

In the bottom photo is doll clothes we bought as a birthday present from a local handicraft lady. Visited her workshop for the first time. She makes rabbits and other animals, some dolls and a lot of doll clothes. These bears and the mouse are by her.

more sun (not today)

A tiger with silky skin and the long-hair girl. Very often there is some chewing gum in her hair.

I just made a food circle order and I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted for whatever reason. Even just thinking about something. I should make my happy list. There are so many things to be happy about.

My friend asked me to become a gardener with her.
We had a lovely day with friends yesterday.
Weleda creams, I love the Weleda smell.

I should find the time to make something, I realised that's something that is missing. I crocheted an easter ball for little V, I'm happy looking at that ball.

evening sun

Sun makes me so happy! When there's no sun I'm pretty down. But that's ok. I could make a list of things I'm happy about. I should.

Some loved ones are heading to New York very soon. Some loved ones I will meet this week after a very long break.

I have new shoes finally. And I thought I would colour my hair after 4 years of natural hair colour. They are trying to talk me out of it.

This is a shirt that traveled back home with me. O gave it to me. I have tried to talk her into giving it to me a long time ago. maybe not talk into, just suggested... It's very pretty. A bit unpractical for breast-feeding but I don't care.

I'm still in Berlin in my mind. Yesterday I received a letter that makes matters worse, in a good way. More dreaming.

The usual story, I should be working.
I just heard good news, or at least better news. For my friend and her family. Their new-born baby stops breathing every now and then, but now they are back home again. It's difficult to find words to say.
