these are some wallpaper samples in the corner of our kitchen, even little scraps look different when you put them on the wall. surprisingly, we are reaching some kind of understanding in this matter. Y is now willing to have the bird paper in kamari (it will be a living room, kind of). now i'm hesitating because we have this huge closet that is going to be placed in that room; it will cover a major part of the wallpaper! that closet is a story in itself. it had to be cut in two to get it upstairs here. we are sharing it: Y's side is full of cameras and related stuff, mine is fabric, buttons, yarn, photos, paper stuff, paints, magazines, envelopes... and all kind of uncategorisable junk i might use someday. it should definitely be in the "working room" instead. hmm... birds or green?

this is the doll that V "ordered". it was the first time i tried to make a toy. well, since elementary school when everyone made a blond doll with light blue eyes. (mine had yellow yarn hair too, but brown eyes.) it's actually quite tricky, and so many choices to be made! like, how to make the hair. i'm not so happy with the doll (the head is missing on purpose), but with her clothes yes. V likes it somehow, this Nukke (=doll) is now the mother of my old doll, Pipsa (she is a redhead). tomorrow is my 33rd birthday and i'm going to plant tulip onions. we have invited some people to Manteli and the newspaper is promising sun.

Nukke näyttää ihastuttavalta. Pidän vaatteistaan kovasti. Ja jos lapsi tykkää, niin silloinhan se on täydellinen!
