-enjoying sun (i decided this photo of V is an hommage to H Schjerfbeck, a favorite artist)
-taking many baths (salvia and calendula)
-seeing many tractors from the window
-admiring different types of moss
-washing dishes on bathroom floor
-watching the outside toilet go overboard... then my mum came and changed the bucket there.
(the ventilation is still not installed, Y has had trouble finding the materials.
eco-toilet needs mechanic ventilation to avoid any smells)
-drinking a lot of tea (fennel and rooibos-lemon grass)
-eating lots of cabbage
(V calls herself kaalihullu, fenkoliteehullu and hapankaalihullu. and rusinahullu, taatelihullu, aprikoosihullu) (=crazy for cabbage, fennel tea, sauerkraut, raisins, dates, apricots...)
-watching Bergman: Scener ur ett äktenskap
-shopping: flowers from flower/funeral shop, fair trade bananas AND oranges from the worse supermarket
(but no organic carrots anywhere, the core element of my kitchen)
-wearing the same long cardigan all the time
-receiving first mail! i found the alphabet ribbons in the mailbox on the first morning. under them a house gift for us from me: M Isola fabric as a linen-cotton towel. for the kindergarten kid V.E. and some for her friend E.
(my first Etsy shopping, found through a tip from Marie/Là)
ps. our connection isn't working yet, but i'm free riding on someone else's, i don't know how that's possible with so few houses around!

It just looks so delicate and wonderful, your house in the countryside and your pictures, I really adore/envy the light in them. I really like your blog, it´s so serene. Thank you for sharing
Helene Schjerfbeck, a favorite of mine too. Happy to see a glimpse of "Strössel" in your home :) Good with a free ride...
so glad to open your site today and find out your new posts!:)I've been missing it!
oh beautiful pictures! sounds like you've been busy! it must be exciting finally all moved in :) (i love the fabric too!)
Tyttö on tosiaan kuin siitä taulusta, ihanasta taulusta. Suomalaisista lempitaiteilijani, tuo jonka nimeä en edes yritä kirjoittaa.
Olen myös hapankaalihullu:)
Ihana blogi sinulla!
thank you ja kiitos. it works again! in the morning it didn't.
AG, serene is the best word ever, i'm not sure i deserve it.
i've missed so many blog happenings too, i have to catch up. after i've managed to get work out of the way...
Sinun blogisi on niin kiva! Löysin tänne jokin aika sitten ja halusin heti linkittää sen blogiini. Sano, jos et tykkää ajatuksesta.
Top pic is great!
Hope you are enjoying your new life!
Tosiaan, ihan selvä tanssikenkiään sitova tyttö! Tykkään Schjerfbeckistä.
Minä olen rusinahullu. Ja rucolahullu ja maustekurkkuhullu ja sipulihullu ja omenahullu.
Omenahullu kuulostaa hillolta, jossa on jotain pielessä.
hej, i just read your post. and love to read this again. the house is standing and you still write on, and it is that way indenpendent of yehias work. the lists let me feel make lists as well. for example, for poland, where i go on next friday, stop by my fammilys favourite cafe, which is so eastern, and drink or eat the fat ice chocolate, go to the polish market and buy fresh vegetables, go and buy fabrics for friends, would you like?, make garden work, cook vegetarian meal for my grandma, who has been forced by her disease to become vegetarian, go to a hairdresser for the first time since five years, as my funny aunt runs a salon there, spend the evening watching a western, as they still popular there, and sleep and dream it becomes good somehow. greetings
What a pretty little set of photo's in your new home. I wish you lots of hapiness together. Thanku for the tip, I will check that writer out. Your daughter is very beautiful (the way she thinks up those names...!).
I enjoy reading your adventures!
Lies
