the weather has been really unstable these past days. rain and shine and thunder. V is scared of thunder and i'm pretending not to be scared at all. (it's a lot easier with the scary Mörkö. i say that we can play to be scared.) we are very slow at getting ready to go out in the morning, and it's difficult not being able to plan at all. it happens all the time now, that when we are finally stepping out it starts to rain.
anyway, because of the strange weather: "on the table" photos. my latest flea-market find was a little bag of buttons. i only liked the bird buttons, and thought 1 euro was a lot for this bag. at home i realized that the dog buttons are actually super nice and that i wouldn't regret if i had paid even 2 euros...
the box originally contained BEAUTIFUL sweets. they are plain sugar, so i never ate all of them. they are well past their date, but i can't throw them away. and i love the package. i got the sweets from a very talented ceramist T. she moved back to Japan after some years in Finland. my friend Y ran into her some time ago in Tokyo and they found out that they both know me. (greetings!)
