blue skies

so the sunny days came as promised, and we were ready. i really haven't had enough of being warm and looking at the blue sky. i got a new book called Lasten aurinkovuosi (=Children's sun-year) and it's wonderful. i want to take it to the kindergarten for our first meeting. it is a guide to ecological children's culture. about crafting and making toys from the elements of nature. V wanted to have a flower crown immediately, she hasn't been so into them. maybe we can start a small scale "sun-party" around here. the book is made by people who hold an annual children's sun festival in Kemiö. i've always wanted to go. now it turned out there's an offspring of that party close to us. but it was too late for this year.


and they are here!! J & A came from Berlin. it is so wonderful to have them here now, for the first time after we moved. they have been here many times before and helped a lot too. they have this rope kind of thing, so we all practice our balance in the forest. difficult! and the raspberry time is starting!

i was so happy yesterday again (sun and friends make a big change, and i finally finished one translation!!). it's going up and down... my working situation is such a problem and stress maker, but that's going to change soon! (then i'm gonna work and work and get some money on the side and travel somewhere far, far away. for a little while. maybe by myself. that thought requires a lot of mental preparation.)
