last week/last week

the kindergarten will start next week! it is our last week of this home life. we went there for the get-to-know meeting and i had my book with me. the 2 ladies were very excited about it! i have quite a good feeling about the place now, trusting. V was very shy and hiding in my skirt, but giving them little laughs too. then we went to the kid-friendliest beach close by, and for the first time it happened: she went under water. i'm telling her all the time not to go further than to the belly-button, she won't listen and it takes only a little unbalance to dive. that was so scary. but she didn't even swallow any water.
yesterday our friends S and M came and we spent the whole day on that beach. they stayed over night too. i love it when people are so easy-going and spontaneous. i'm not. or very rarely. the girls made presents to the cat N. clover leaves and sawdust, hay wrapped in raspberry leaves.
