a little break, i got into a stupid passage in my work. my little girl is in kindergarten. i can't wait to go pick her up. this morning she decided to wear white and red striped shirt and white and brown polka dot pants and her favorite socks, white and pink stripes. and 5 hairpins. "this is a good style." i could start taking photos of each morning, it's so interesting and fun to see what she wants to wear. it's one of the legends of my childhood:
my aunt was baby-sitting me often and i would always complain about clothes, "they don't fit together!" then i would choose something myself, and she had to agree they fit together beautifully...
last thursday's look was this. there was also a yellow and green polka dot shirt, the "pea-shirt".
and actually i don't want to use her so much for this hobby of mine. maybe once in a while.

polka dots look like happy childhood. It's like children's wear should look like. Not like disco queens and soldiers.
I exactly understand what you mean in your last sentences... We don't want to expose them but on the other hand, they happen to be in front of the camera pretty often. So sometimes it's hard to resist.
But I like to see your daughter on your pictures. She seems to be a real little personality and you capture it so well.
I love polka dots too!! It's funny what you tell about picking clothes. My eldest don't care much about what to wear (as I didn't either at her age), but the youngest always need t have a little talk about clothes before picking her daily outfit.

Mun piti kommentoida jo noihin edellisiin kuviin. Niissä on jotenkin niin hieno tunnelma.
Iloitsen noista pilkuista. Meillä on kovassa käytössä alunperin naamiaisasuksi tehty punavalkopilkullinen baskeri, myrkkysienihattu.
Joo, lapset ja blogi. Mäkin olen mietinnyt. Ja muutenkin, juuri nyt tuntuu että on narrausta kirjoittaa "puhti"-nimistä blogia, kun olo on niin vetämätön ja ällö. Toisaalta, ehkä se yksi puhti-hetki päivässä kannattaa edelleen raportoida, ihan itsensä takia.
Ja toivottavasti äitisi leikkaus meni hyvin, ja muutenkin sujuu kaikki uudet rutiinit jne.
niin, pitää aina muista tehdä blogia itsensä takia! siihen ajatukseen mä aina palaan. äiti on niin reipas nainen, että pitää kysyä joltain muulta, että kannattaako olla huolissaan. rutiinit... ei oo kiva herätä herätyskellolla, mutta onneksi meidän ei tarvi hulluna kiiruhtaa sinne päiväkotiin. kyllä se siitä. koko aamu puhuttiin siitä, että pärjääkö V siellä vai ei. ihmeellinen sekoitus hauskuutta ja surua se päiväkotilapsen elämä.
disco queens and soldiers, that's exactly how it is in most shops. and i guess the part of the soldier's mother is even worse. the colours for boys are so sad and boring. for girls too, but they have a tiny bit more childhood in them. at least for princess types.
it's so much fun to look at her tastes. and make sure she doesn't have anything too horrible in her wardrobe. i could go on and on...
and i don't what is the limit of exposing the child. the blog is so much also for friends and family who we don't get to meet so often. i want to show how big she is and all that, but at the same time i'm all the time controlling what kind of photos i put here...
