i don't have photos to prove anything, but: me and V went by bicycle to a little fair that was held at a mill. Y was working at the house, of course. it started to rain a bit before we got there, but we got only a bit wet. at the mill shop i met the girl i read about in the local paper! her name is I (begins with I), and she immediately asked me if i know M, and i do, and if i'd be interested in an astanga yoga course! i would! she lives quite close and they have goats too!
i always intended to go everywhere by bike, but a lot of times there's too little time, or i want to do the whole week's shopping at once, or it's raining. today's biking made me feel like a hero. the mill itself was wonderful, beautiful old building and all the strange wooden machinery there is. next to it was a bridge that had a very japanese feel to it. then there was a lady selling very nice stuffed animals (Rusakko). we came back through a forest, past fields and I's house. when we got back home we went to see the neighbor's kitten. then i made food and listened to indie rock while V and Y painted wood outside. burned yellow, but quite light. our grey house will have some yellow accents. not random though, i just don't know the english words.
other happy things: i got to borrow Y's mum's sewing machine. i got cute new sewing books and bought some fabrics. i'm reading the Summer Book by Tove Jansson. i recommended it to my friend Knick Knack, and i'm a bit happy to think we are reading it at the same time. the electrician came, Y made a lot of fixing, and we have baked our first cake in our beautiful oven!! it is the best oven i have ever even seen! J&A are coming from Berlin quite soon! V&B got married in Marseille! J and kids are in Finland. they moved to Bulgaria, and little S has a birthday next week. (i realize i have been quite down.)
and i have started to adapt myself to the idea of days without V. she will start kindergarten in august.

oh wow your life sounds so exciting! envy your oven!
oh you're lucky finding a yoga class!
i miss mine :(
its exciting about the oven too!
you definitely shared your excitement in this post! Wow, so much happening right now!
"my friend knick knack" - I am touched!!! But it sounds silly to be named like that. It's the name of my blog which was supposed to be about how I see things around me and not about myself, and then this name shows up whenever I write a comment. Strange thing this anonymity on the net... My name is Karen. I'm back from the island and proofreading right now. Proofs don't care about vacation, but seeing an article in print is a very satisfying part of work.
You sound so happy!!
a bit crazy post, i must say. looks boring with so much text, and i fell like i'm lacking way too many english words... thank you, dear regular readers.
we also saw a baby horse - a foal?
yoga will be just a one week course i think.
and Karen, thank you. i wanted to ask that, but was not sure if it's allowed in this anonymous context... i like that name a lot. all the names ending in N... my name is obviously Hanna.
Tuo nukkumiskuva on niin herkkä. Innostuneisuus on mahtavaa. Ehkä täälläkin huomenna. Tänään en vaan jaksa. Mitään. Melkein.
so inspiring post, this, Hanna!
I read the summer book, too wih you and Karen. I do every summer since a couple of years back. This year aloud for the whole family!
Hope the good vibes stay with you all summer!
hej Line! nice to hear, it's happier still, you under your roof with the same book!
