V was taken to the zoo some time ago. she went with my brother, his girlfriend, my mum and aunt. i guess zoos are fun for a kid, but i get too sad so i wouldn't be taking her... anyway the true story goes like this:
the lynx was sitting with his/her back turned, but when V shouted "come here!" he/she came right up to the front of the cage.

yeah, great for having contractions too!
zoo animals are so often obviously mentally disturbed, it doesn't make me happy to see that. even if i would love to see a real tiger or a panda! i get more sad from seeing them imprisoned.
I agree! We went to a zoo some months ago and what I enjoyed the most was actually to see the swedish wildlife thats impossible to see in the nature. Like wolfs, lynx, wolverine and bears (the kids even got to feed the bears). They keep the animals almost as in freedom there. Although the giraffe, elephant and that kind of animals they keep in a very small areas and I think it´s horrible. The giraffe hasn´t got food up in the sky or anything...
