i'm abusing Y's book and August Sander by choosing a photo that is not so masterful technically. i'm choosing this person and her socks. there are so many beautiful garments in these books. i have to question myself on what grounds i choose a photo. is it for the wallpaper or all those pleats on the dress. with my heart of course. i just have to wait and look, look...
i have given myself a free day today. i will start sewing a christmas present and have an exclusive grown-up coffee with I.
i will listen to Satie, Cinematic Orchestra, Windy & Carl, Monade and YLT: "Today is the Day"!

your music collecton is made for lonely warm winterstarting-home-evenings. satie makes me so sad always. this woman`s coat looks a little bit like mine that I am still insecure about. but I like on the image so much. and those socks in the elegant shoes! my safety-word now: fiaollee
Mukavaa tiistai-iltaa :) Täältä löytyi se kuva. Ihana, rauhallisen kaunis, nuo kaksi selvästi kuuluvat yhteen.
i love the photo. have to check out this book!
Yamamoto once did a complete collection based on Sanders pictures, I remember that i was very jealous then (at that time, still studying fashion design) because it seemed so obvious and inspiring and i never had thought about it! retrospective my former ego makes me laugh!
I hope you enjoyed your well earned free day, the exquisite choice of music and that you did not get disturbed by any bothersome duties.
yes, i'm thinking about him, looking at all the details, shapes and collars. collars... i've seen a documentary(?) about him, looking at the photos. the kids are mostly quite ugly, but their clothes... so wonderful and so well-made, where are all those clothes now??
and of course, the day was not as long as it sounds... i didn't listen to any Satie nor C.O., but today is the day -ep was playing for 3 times!
