"You love me." I say it so often that she knows. She's still 3 for one more day. I'm extremely in love with her.
I had my once a year printing session. This time there is her signature too, printed in gold. The flowers are from a beautiful butterfly song. I'm so happy (extremely happy) making something that I really should do it more often.
The flowers of the purple tree are open now. The tree is standing in between piles of the new/old logs.
I also had 2 sewing evenings until midnight. The dress is still missing buttons. That is a problem I have to solve tonight. My sewing machine doesn't make button holes. By hand maybe? I hope this doesn't look too babushka like, there was no photo of a kid wearing this dress in the pattern book. Also, maybe, I will make a matching dress for her new doll Sunflower (in the top photo next to her). Sunflower has only the factory clothes she came with.

Mä aina kysyn, jatkuvasti, että "arvaa mitä?" ja V vastaa: "sä rakastat mua". Tästä on jotain muitakin variaatioita. Hän on vielä tämän päivän 3v. Mun vuotuinen printtausprojekti: kutsukortit. Meidän lempilaulu: "Lemmikistä neilikkaan, sinikellosta apilaan..." (Pekka Streng: Perhonen) Ruutumekko kankaasta, jota kohtaan on ollut odotuksia. En ehtinyt hankkia kirjaa, haluaisin, että olisi aina kirjalahja. En keksinyt mikä se voisi olla. Niin, napinreiät puuttuu, mun ompelukone ei tee yhteistyötä, se ompelee vain ja ainoastaan eteenpäin. Tuleeko käsin hyvät? Uuden nuken nimi on Auringonkukka, sillekin tarvittais vaatteita. Mutta kuulemma keltaisia.
Paljon puuhaa ja suunnittelemista. Ja nuo iänikuiset työtkin.

Mä yritän välttää napinläpiä. Teen lenksuja. Vaikka virkkaamalla. Mutta kuulemma käsin tulee hyvät napinlävet. Olen tainnut joskus onnistua, kauan sitten.
Onnea nelivuotiaalle! kauniita kutsukortteja ja hieno juhlamekko. tulee varmasti kivat kemut. (oho, meinasin taas laitaa tähän hymiön..)
jännä muuten lukea sekä englanniksi että suomeksi. mun melkein täytyy lukea molemmat, niissä on kuitenkin vähän erilainen sävy. äänenväri, ikäänkuin?

Halusin lintukirjan, mutta pitäisi mennä divareihin, jos haluaisi löytää kauniin. Uudet oli ihan tylsiä, ainakin siellä missä ehdin käydä.

I am sorry that boys cannot wear dresses. (Or maybe they can?) They are easy to sew and mainly a great thing for a sewerin to play with their designs. I like your home made clothes for your daughter.

Bohemian girl, it's true dresses and skirts are much more fun to make than pants. But they are fun too. If the kid likes them. If you choose the right fabric. My girl is so picky, but sometimes her likings suddenly change.
